Over the years, Kaizala has become a very important tool in education. As institutions worldwide continue adopting more and more online tools to stay connected in an increasingly remote world, Kaizala has a true potential to change the face of education delivery.
In this post, we will discuss a wide range of scenarios and group structures by which we can unleash the true potential of Kaizala. Features such as quiz, training, announcements and attendance are available out of the box with the Kaizala app that is available for free in the App store and Play Store. For customized solutions and analytics/reports, the Kaizala Pro license (or E3/E5 Microsoft Office license) can be used.

Section-wise flat groups

Apart from the main group, each section of each class should have a flat group with class teachers and subject teachers as admins and students as members. Flat groups are those where chat is enabled for everyone. Here, section related updates, like class test schedules, quizzes, leader-boards, project discussions and chapter specific trainings can be shared. Also, students can ask queries to subject teachers and get their doubts resolved. The QnA action card can be leveraged heavily for this purpose so that the context of discussions is not lost in a huge thread of messages. Teachers can use the Kaizala web-app for posting trainings and quizzes efficiently. Quiz results are available from the portal and can be used to send out leader-boards so as to encourage participation and embrace merit. Also, students should mark their attendance daily using the attendance card and the admins can see a consolidated view of attendance marked in management portal analytics. Bulk adding users from the portal can definitely help in creating these groups with ease at the beginning of every session.
Flat groups for teaching/non-teaching staff

There should also exist a flat group of all teachers, the principal and the management heads where discussions related to infrastructure, planning and syllabus can be carried out. Cards like Kudos can be used for showing appreciation for specific teachers based on outstanding impact as a method of recognition. There can also be separate groups for separate subject teachers for better and more efficient knowledge sharing.
Also, management can have their own flat groups for proper functioning of the facilities and institute-infrastructure. Here, discussions related to facilities management like security, cleanliness, transport schedules etc can be carried on.
Security aspects
Phone numbers of individual users are not exposed to other group members in Kaizala – which solves a big security issue. Other problems like one-on-one spamming can be easily reported and blocked. Spam posts in a group can be deleted by admins and admins can easily remove spammers from a group. Data of the institution remains in the tenant and there is no data leakage or mining in the background. All communications are encrypted – which means that Kaizala provides enterprise level security for chats and data. Also, once a user is removed from a group, her chat history will be cleared, which means she will not have access to any organisation data post her departure from the organisation.
Summary
In these ways, Kaizala can truly empower an educational institution to achieve more. In a well-connected world, Kaizala will definitely help institutions to function with ease, thereby keeping all stakeholders happy and changing the way education is delivered outside school premises.

Schools are already having various online teaching apps . How is Kaizala application going to help or support. Presently I believe only the the principals are part of the Kaizala group and only the admin can give messages . How will teachers be included in the group if schools want to switch over to this app and what are the advantages over other On Line Apps extending free teaching. Please clarify
